Our academy performed the “Wolf” opera at Yerevan’s Sayat Nova School of Music.

Volunteers from Birthright Armenia visited our academy and volunteered their time to painting a mural. Birthright Armenia’s volunteers have year-after-year, contributed much to our school and students.

On May 16th, our academy held its first children’s opera, “The Wolf” written by Daniel Ghazaryan. Our students enthusiastically performed the opera in front of their parents, dignitaries and visitors from Shushi, Stepanakert, Yerevan and abroad.

May 9 is the day Shushi was liberated and with this liberation, Nagorno Karabakh became independent. Without the liberation of our city, our school could not exist. Here is our humble tribute to this wonderful day.

April 24, 2015 marked the centennial of the Armenian Genocide where over 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the hands of the Ottoman Turks. We honor our ancestors.
